Belizean Dreams and Hopkins Bay are both sister resorts located just near the tiny Garifuna village of Hopkins. As opposed to the other resorts in the area they offer spacious luxury villas with all the amenities of home. The villas are arranged in a horseshoe so every room has a view of the ocean. The courtyard has fountains, walkways and beautiful landscaping. Lining the beach you'll find a large infinity pool lined with coconut trees and beach chairs. A nice recent addition has been their new restaurants and bars, Ocean Grove and Woven Palm. These airy thatched roof palapas, furnished with rich hardwood furniture and overlooking the beach, provide a great atmoshpere for fine dining or enjoying some cold drinks. Each 3 bedroom villa has 3 complete baths, is fully air conditioned and has over 2500 square feet. They have a vaulted ceilings, colorful tapestries, local Belizean artwork, colorful hand-painted Mexican tiles, rich hardwood furnishings, four-poster beds and more. The villas can be rented as a whole for a family or divided into 1 or 2 bedrooms for couples or smaller groups. Each room has a covered balcony with a view of the sea. Overall the rooms provide a great combination of luxury and casual tropical accents. You can even get a private massage in your villa or a chef can prepare a prviate meal for you. I recommend these 2 resorts for anyone looking for a luxury villa on the beach in a secluded natural setting.
