(Alex Gamero is the owner of DiscoveringBelize.com and has lost count of how many hotels and resorts in Belize he's visited.) This resort is located in the northside of San Pedro town. It's still within walking distance to downtown where you'll find a variety of restaurants, shops and bars, but the area itself is quiet and more secluded. In fact it's a residential area where many locals live. The only thing to bare in mind is that there is bar perched at the end of a dock just beside the property, Wet Willy's, which gets quite loud on Wednesday nights when they have lady's night. This is not a problem of course, if you enjoy a good party. The resort itself features 3 stories of suites which are studios, in other words the bedrooms are not private and the beds share the common area of the kitchen and living room. The suites are spacious and comfortable, with wood furniture, warm colors and all the amenities you need. The 3rd floor suites are particularly nice because they have vaulted ceilings. On the third floor there is a wooden deck with great views of the sea. From here there are also steps that take you to another deck on top of the roof which gives you a bird's eye view of the sea and entire town, essantially 4 stories up in the air. On the ground level infront of the suites is the pool overlooking the sea. There is no beach infront of the property, only a seawall, but there are some descent beachs just a few steps from the property. I recommend this resort for anyone who is looking for some good suites, at a fair price, in the quieter part of San Pedro town.
