Although most people staying in these northern resorts have to take a public water taxi in and out of town, guests here are ferried in a private boat. The seclusion gives the resort great peace and tranquility. This resort has created an atmosphere that fits perfectly with the tropical beach resort theme. It's white sandy beach dotted by coconut trees sets the stage. The thatched roof buildings really make you feel like you're in paradise. They have a variety of accomodoations ranging from Beachfront Cabanas to Luxurious Suites. The decor can best be described as casual elegance with colofrul Guatemalan tapestries, colorful Mexican tiles, local Belizean hardwoods and a variety of artwork. One of the most striking features of the rooms are it's glass windows that stretch from the floor to the ceiling giving you magnifiscent views of the sea. They also have a large 2 story house covering 2,000 square feet and that's not counting the verandah. It comes equipped with full kitchen, living room, dining area and several rooms that can comfortable accomodate a large family or group. Their restaurant serves great Euro-Caribbean fusion cuisine and the bar will keep your thirst quenched. They also offer room service and service to the beach and pool. They have a large beachfront pool great for cooling off that comes comlete with an island in the middle dotted with coconut trees. I recommend this resort for anyone looking for a tropical beach resort in the tranquil northern end of Ambergris Caye.
