This resort is located just north of Placencia village about 5 minutes by car. The property covers a large section of beach and is lined with beach chairs and complimentary watersports equipment. They have a long dock with a thatched roof palapa at the end with hammocks and lounge chairs. The beachview standard rooms are located behind some trees about 100 feet from the beach. The second floor rooms have vaulted ceilings and a view of the sea from the balcony. A few steps away you'll find the first of 3 fresh water pools, wrapped by a wooden deck. Beside it is the main building where you'll find a lounge area with plush sofas, local art and a small library. Here you'll also find the bar and the restaurants with and open deck overlooking the beach. On the second floor of this building are the oceanfront junior suites which are spacious with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. There are also some steps leading to rooftop Jacuzzi which are a great place to catch a sunset. Although the restaurant is downstairs, noise is not really an issue. A few steps down the beach you'll find the second pool. Overlooking the pool and beach is a 2 story building husing the oceanview deluxe suites. These 1 and 2 bedroom suits feature a private master bedroom which opens up to a spacious living room and kitchen. The wrap around wooden decks offer great views of the beach. The second floor suites have vaulted ceilings. Moving down further on the beach you'll find the oceanfront grand villa suites which cover 1000 square feet with a master bedroom, living room with plush couches and a private balcony. The suites on the last floors have vualted ceilings. Infront of the suites is a large infinity pool. All the various types of rooms at this resort are eleganty decorated with Mexican terracota tiles, hardwood furniture, warm colors, colorful textiles and local artword and antiques. Other amenities include a fitness center, marina and tennis court. They also have a tiny private island (Robert's Caye) with some cabanas nestled on top of the water. Overall this is a great tropical luxury beach resort with a variety of room options and great service.
