Photographer's Comments
"This photograph was take at the Community Baboon Sanctuary. They have several healthy troops of Howler Monkeys, locally called Baboons. Unlike other parts of the country where you only see them high up in trees, the monkeys here are not shy at all. They get very close to you and will take food right out of your hands. In this shot a monkey hanging from a branch takes a leafy treat from the guide. I like this shot because of the human hand holding the monkey's hand. A ray of sunlight penetrated the canopy to hit the leaf and hands just perfectly to give it a wonderful accent." Alex Gamero |
