Photographer's Comments

"This photograph was taken in Placencia. This is an unusual sunset picture. While most of the time you point the camera at the sun, on this day i pointed it in the opposite direction. While the sun was setting to the west i saw this amazing view to the east. I particularly like the rich blue tones with hints of the classical sunset colors of orange and yellow. The calm water mirroring the sky ads even more to this shot. And of course, the dock ties everything together adding a great perspective. There were some hammocks under the palapa at the end of the dock. What a wonderfully relaxing spot to lay down." Alex Gamero
