This honeymoon package will take you to Ambergris Caye and offers you a choice of 2 of the most romantic resorts on the island. It also includes snorkeling the Barrier Reef and a romantic sunset cruise aboard a catamaran. This island is probably the most popular honeymoon destination in Belize. It's not hard to understand why with it's many unique resorts, coconut trees and crystal clear waters. San Pedro town is also a great part of the appeal with its cobbled stone streets and many restaurants, bars and shops. The nightlife is particularly good with beach bars, live music and even a disco where you can dance. Overall it's a great place to relax and have fun. The island motto is "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem". The Barrier Reef is only a half mile from the shoreline and harbors one of the most famous snorkeling sites in the country, Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley (included in this package), selected as one of the best “animal dives” in the Caribbean. Indluded in this package is also a sunset cruise aboard a catamaran. You'll leave in the afternoon and enjoy a beautiful sunset while enjoying a cold beer or fruity cocktail. You'll then return to town under cover of stars. Other optional activities include scuba diving, fishing and kitsurfing. You can even do day trips to visit jungle attractions like the Maya Ruins of Lamanai or Cave Tubing. Of course, the resort is a very important choice for your honeymoon. Victoria House has a colonial architecture and beautifull manibured grounds. It provides a romantic and elegany atmosphere. Mata Chica has thatched roof cabanas around the beach with murals in the interior. The lounge music from the lobby sets the casual and chic atmosphere of this resort. Both resorts are outside of town, offering quiet and tranquility. And whenever you're ready to go into town, it's only a short ride away.

Itinerary & What's Included:
-  You will be welcomed at the International Airport by a representative of DiscoveringBelize.com
-  The transfer from the Airport to Ambergris Caye is not included. Your options include a Water Taxi boat (a 2 hour ride) or a puddle jumper plane (a 15 minute flight). We can easily arrange any of these options for you.
-  6 Nights Accomodation on Ambergris Caye. You have a choice between staying at Victoria House or Mata Chica. Both are beautiful and romantic resorts.
-  A bottle of chilled Ruinart Blan de Blancs champage will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive to celebrate the start of your honeymoon. This is real champagne from France.
-  Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley Snorkeling aboard a Catamaran (also includes a stop for lunch on Caye Caulker) - includes snorkeling gear, park fee, snacks and drinks
-  Sailing Sunset Cruise aboard a Catamaran - includes snacks and drinks
-  After your honeymoon, the transfer from Ambergris Caye back to the Airport is not included. Your optinos include a Water Taxi boat ride or a puddle jumper flight. We can easily arrange any of these optins for you.

Victoria House in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

This resort is located just a few minutes south of town along the beach. It has built a reputation over the years as a romantic getaway for couples. It even caters to many weddings. It’s plantation style design with lots of white contrasted with deep wood grains gives it an elegant feel, that blends well with its beach and coconut trees. The rooms are quite nice with 4-poster beds, drapes and verandahs. This stately backdrop offers a relaxing and romantic atmosphere for couples looking for romance.

Mata Chica Resort in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

This resort is located about a 15 minute boat ride north of town along the beach. It definitely has a unique style with its chic design and bright colors. Lounge music sets the mood in the lobby with the adjoining restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub. The rooms have towering thatched ceilings, colorful drapes and murals on the wall. The beach is quite nice with rows of beach chairs and coconut trees. Its distance from town and each room being and individual cabana, it offers plenty of privacy. Overall, if you appreciate a chic and cool atmosphere, you will enjoy your stay here.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley Snorkeling aboard a Catamaran (also includes a stop for lunch on Caye Caulker)

You will board a 38 foot Fountaine Pajot Athena Catamaran and set sail to 2 destinations. You will snorkel at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, named one of the best “animal dives” in the Caribbean. Due to its protected status, it harbors a variety of marine life. Nearby is Shark Ray Alley, which as its name implies, is where you can swim along nurse sharks. You will also find plenty of southern sting rays here. The other part of your day of sailing is a visit to Caye Caulker, a charming island and village just south of San Pedro. Here you can explore the sandy streets stopping for some lunch or picking up some souvenirs. You will inevitable end up at The Split, where you can enjoy a swim and some drinks at the Lazy Iguana bar, perched right beside the water. This is a fun-filled day of sailing, snorkeling and island life.

Sailing Sunset Cruise Aboard a Catamaran

You will board a 38 foot Fountaine Pajot Athena Catamaran and set sail in the afternoon. You will sail along the island’s shoreline with views of the sunset to the west. Sitting on the trampoline, where only a net stands between you and the water moving below you, is a nice experience. Snacks and alcoholic drinks are provided. Overall, it is a very fun ride, with an accommodating crew. The sunsets in San Pedro can be quite spectacular as well. The tour lasts about 2 hours.
