Photographer's Comments

"This photograph was taken on Turneffe Islands Atoll. Belize has 3 coral atolls of which Turneffe is the biggest. You get a sense of calm when you're on one of these remote islands surrounded by so much natural beauty. I walked toward the back of the island to get some sunset shots. I waited for a while for the sun to drop in order to get those bright sunset colors filling the sky. I framed the shot with a few mangrove branches giving it a nice silouette. I particularly like the range of colors in the sky, from a dark blue all the way to the deep oranges near the horizon." Alex Gamero
